About
Hey there! I’m a real-life Las Vegas-born showgirl that was raised in Clifton Park, NY, a suburb of Saratoga Springs. I’m based in NYC, but really more of a nomad. I guess you could say I like to go where the wind takes me. :)
I have always had a passion for performance. There wasn’t a time in my life when performing wasn’t the path I was going to take, and I spent my childhood noodling at my toy keyboard and learning other instruments, performing in as many shows as I possibly could, competing in singing contests, and tapping away in dance recitals. I performed in many shows in New York’s Capital Region, from Golden Age standards like Damn Yankees! and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, to coming-of-age classics like Footloose and Grease, to spunky newer classics like Legally Blonde and Shrek the Musical. All my local work culminated in my professional debut in Mamma Mia! at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY when I was 18.
My theatre journey led me to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the New Studio on Broadway, where I studied with incredible industry professionals and some of the brightest rising stars in New York City. At NYU, I had the pleasure of performing in several shows, one of which was performed at the Soho Playhouse off-Broadway. More than that, I realized what my core values are as an artist and a person: fierce love, deep respect, relentless advocacy for others, and a sense of play.
My passion for music took me to unexpected and lovely places when I became the Assistant Music Director, and then Music Director, for NYU’s only all-female a cappella group, the Cleftomaniacs. I’ve got perfect pitch and a taste for juicy harmonies, and I love to spend time transcribing melodies and arranging piano accompaniments for my friends (for arrangement/accompaniment inquiries, click on the MUSIC tab!) Recently, I arranged music for and co-music directed Michael the Musical, a show written by people I love about people I love.
As much as I love performing, I love working with and teaching children. I was working with kids while still a kid myself, and it all led to me becoming a Tour Actor/Director with Missoula Children’s Theatre in January 2022. I love to make little ones feel full, capable, and proud, and I want to spread opportunity around like butter.
Mostly, I just want to create and make people feel good.
Thanks for visiting!
